A real person answers, day or night
Fix the broken pipe without ever tearing up the driveway above it
A resin sleeve cures hard inside the old pipe and becomes the new one, sealing every crack and joint in a single pass. Call (02) 9072 0592 to find out whether relining is the right fix for your line.
Why relining suits ground like this
Wet trenches make digging costly
A sealed line locks the sand out
What pipe relining involves
Relining rebuilds a pipe in place rather than replacing it, and because the whole job happens through an existing access point it barely disturbs the surface, running through four stages on a typical line:
Cleaning and prep
First the line is jetted clean and cameraed, because the resin can only bond to a bare pipe wall, so every trace of sand, grease and root has to be stripped back before a liner goes anywhere near the drain.
Measuring the liner
Every reline is cut to the measured length and diameter of that pipe, so the sleeve fits the run exactly, spans the cracked or root-damaged section fully and leaves no gap at either end for trouble to return back through.
Curing in place
Once the resin-soaked liner is drawn into position, it is inflated against the pipe wall and left to cure into a hard, jointless new pipe set within the old one, bonded along the full length of the repaired section underground.
Junctions reopened
Any branch junctions sealed over by the liner are reopened with a robotic cutter from inside, so every inlet flows again and the relined drain works exactly as the original once did, only without its old cracks and open joints.
Keeping The Grand Parade frontage intact
No trench through a paved frontage
Salt-worn joints sealed for good
When relining is the right call
Cracked earthenware
Cracked and slightly offset earthenware joints, the standard fault under the interwar grid, are sealed end to end by a liner without any digging, which stops both the root intrusion and the sand ingress for good in a single pass.
Roots that keep coming back
Root-choked lines that reblock every season are permanently shut to the roots by a sealed sleeve, because there is no longer a joint or crack for them to push through, ending the yearly cut-and-clear on that run for good.
Pipes under paving
A drain running under a paved path, tiled driveway or planted garden bed is the classic case for relining, since the alternative is excavating and reinstating the surface above, and the resin sleeve delivers the same lasting repair without any of that.
Why relining is worth it on this ground
Relining is not just the tidy option; on this ground it is often the repair that lasts, because it removes what keeps reopening a patched drain:
The surface stays put
The fault is sealed, not patched
It holds in wet ground

Call and tell us
Ring (02) 9072 0592 and describe what's happening, and a licensed plumber, not an answering machine, will tell you what it likely means, what to stop using, and when we can realistically be there.
- 02
Quote before work
Your plumber inspects the job properly, runs whatever diagnosis it genuinely needs, and hands you a single fixed written price covering the complete fix, with a $0 call out fee and nothing added afterwards.
- 03
Lined and cured on site
On the day, we clean and camera the pipe, draw the resin liner into the damaged run, cure it hard against the wall, reopen the junctions, then film it again so you see one unbroken new pipe end to end.

Why choose Your Plumber Monterey
A reline is only as good as its prep and cure:
Fixed prices, kept
Every job is priced upfront in plain writing before any work starts, the invoice always matches that number, and weekend or late-evening timing changes nothing, because overtime rates simply don't exist here.
Licensed and insured
Your Plumber Monterey works under licence #275278C with full insurance behind every job, and the compliance certificates that protect your home's paperwork trail arrive with the invoice, without you ever needing to ask for them.
Lifetime Labour Warranty
Workmanship here is guaranteed for life under our Lifetime Labour Warranty rather than for a warranty card's fine-print window, which says more about how the work is done in the first place than any advertisement could.
Genuinely local response
We work these streets constantly rather than commuting in from across Sydney, so the van reaching you has usually just left a job nearby, stocked for the faults the local houses actually develop.
Where we work
No-dig relining across the wider area
Trenchless relining seals split, root-invaded lines in Ramsgate Beach, Beverley Park, Ramsgate, Kogarah and Brighton-Le-Sands, sparing driveways and gardens on the same sandy, high-water-table ground that makes an open dig such hard work nearby.
Good questions, straight answers
Pipe relining questions Monterey locals ask
What does pipe relining cost compared with digging?
The call out costs you $0 and the reline is quoted in writing up front; it often works out better value once you count the driveway or garden a dig would tear up.
How long does a reline take?
Most household relines are cleaned, lined and cured within a day, and because nothing is excavated you avoid the extra days a dig needs to reinstate a driveway or a garden bed afterwards.
Does relining really last?
Yes; the cured sleeve is a jointless pipe bonded inside the old one, so on the high water table out west there is no open seam for roots and silt to work back into.
Can any drain be relined?
Most cracked, root-damaged or leaking lines can, provided the pipe has kept its shape; where a run has fully collapsed or lost its fall we relay that section instead and reline the rest.
Will relining wreck my driveway or garden?
No; the whole job is done from an existing access point, so a tiled driveway on The Grand Parade or an established garden bed is left exactly as it was while the pipe beneath is rebuilt.
Is the relined pipe guaranteed?
Yes, every reline is backed by our Lifetime Labour Warranty, so if the workmanship is ever not right we return and correct it at no cost to you.
